The kids really enjoyed Halloween this year. It was nice to see so many people around Bideford taking the kids out trick-or-treating and lots of houses making an effort with decorations.
The best part of Halloween was the fact that it was a school day so the only entertainment that needed to be provided was from 3 PM onwards. When we got home they had a Halloween tea which was quite cheap really as I bought it all on the day, Morrisons and Asda already started the clearance range for Halloween.
After the tea party the kids got changed into the bargain costumes from Tesco’s. Tesco kindly sent through two coupons in the post for me. The first one was save £2 when you spend £10 on Halloween costumes and the second one was save £5 when you spend £25 on clothing. These two coupons combined meant that I would get £25 worth of Halloween costumes for just £18 and they’re already in the sale. Bargain! Let’s get dressed up!
The flashing sticks were £2.00 each at Crealy so we used them while we were out.
